Hi everyone, 

Thanks to all of you, your donations, kind words, and shares, we’ve officially hit the halfway mark in our fundraising goal! Lori has been able to pay off her medical bills up to this point because of your generosity, and that’s a huge relief heading into this next chapter of her treatment. 

Lori met with her chemo doctor this past week and really liked him, which is a big win. Chemo is scheduled to start on August 1st and will continue every three weeks for six rounds. She has her cute wig all ready to go! If all goes as planned, she’ll be finished just before Thanksgiving. 

Now that chemo is starting, we’ve added meals to Lori’s registry. Since Lori’s been through this before, she has a good sense of what to expect, especially that she’ll need the most support a few days after each treatment. Lori said it doesn't need to be fancy, just something small for a family of three (mostly her since the girls are frequently gone and working). Don't have time to cook or pick up takeout, a DoorDash would be amazing.

We’re getting ready to launch a fundraising auction, and we need your help to make it happen!
