Lori Sill
Well, the next chapter in Lori’s battle against cancer has officially kicked off. Lori had her port placed on Wednesday and started her first round of chemo today.
Here’s the rundown: The post-surgery tests showed the cancer made it to a lymph node, which bumps her to Stage 3. That number sounds scary, but don’t worry—we took a deep breath, grabbed some emotional eating snacks, and reminded ourselves: Lori’s got an A-team of oncologists, a solid treatment plan, and a whole army of people (that’s you) cheering her on.
She’s already icing her hands and feet during chemo to help avoid nerve damage—so yes, she’s literally chill about it. Hair loss is expected next week, and in true warrior mama fashion, she’s planning to just shave it all and rock the bald look like the absolute legend she is.
Here’s where you come in:
Feed the Fighter:
We need a few meals covered in September. More dates coming soon. Homemade or delivered—we’re not picky. A small meal for 3 people delivered by you or an app between 5 and 5:30 would be most excellent!
Spread the Word:
SHARE this page far and wide. Text it, tweet it, post it, skywrite it. Every share helps us reach our goal and lets Lori focus on healing, not hustling.
Instacart Angels:
Lori lights up when a surprise Instacart drop lands on her porch. Snacks, easy meals, Costco goodies—if it brings joy or makes her life easier, it’s perfect. Want her address? Text me: 801-726-2524.
Auction Items Needed:
Got a talent? Use it for good! We’re still collecting things for an upcoming fundraiser: baked goods, gift cards, crafts, quilts, services, etc. (Yes, we’ll auction your sourdough.) This has been a slow role to build, so text me if you can donate. 801-726-2524

Donations:
We’re halfway to our fundraising goal—and we’d love to blow past it. Lori’s not working during chemo weeks, so every bit helps cover bills, groceries, and peace of mind. As a single mama, I'm sure you can imagine what a weight this is to carry. Keep those donations rolling in; $5, $10, $25, $50... every penny brings Lori a sense of relief that she can do this and limit the financial hardship.
Thank you for showing up, sharing, donating, cooking, and loving. There have been countless acts of service, from big tips at your appointment to taking care of her lawn. She is SO grateful! You’re part of the reason Lori’s going to beat this—head shaved, ice packs on, and spirit fully intact.
Let’s keep showing up big. 💪❤️
