Last month, I went back to Stanford to see the oncology dermatologist and neurologist. BTW, thank you for the help crowdsourcing some Marriott points too, I was able to raise enough for a free room!

Anyway, I had a growth beneath my left eye that they biopsied and thankfully, it turned out to be a benign angioma. Originally, they said I'd have a follow-up appointment for the removal but fortunately, they were able to get the entire thing and if it ever comes back, they can just laser it off. It's mostly done healing and after having it for nearly a year, I'm very glad it's gone.

And remember that random seizure I had back in the Fall? After a total fluke, I learned about syncope, which is a loss of consciousness that can mimic seizures. I told the neurologist I thought that's what happened and after completing my assessment, I'm happy to say she agreed. That said, she wants me to get a brain and spine MRI to be safe because of my cancer history. I'm always grateful when my doctors are so thorough but I'm definitely feeling nervous about these two tests. They're scheduled for April 3, so please send all your prayers and good vibes my way..

On an exciting note, my sponsored Victory Trip to Kauai has been completely booked and we're leaving in 7 weeks! I can hardly believe it and beside the obvious, I'm also manifesting clear imaging results so we can truly relax, play, and take a break from all the stress and trauma of a cancer diagnosis. All the essentials are covered but if you'd like to celebrate with us, you can make a donation for food, shave ice, or island gas money. LOL I also updated my Amazon wishlist with some travel essentials that would be helpful too.

I still remember my first chemo infusion when the social worker told me about this opportunity and it seemed like the time would never come. So while I can't exactly put cancer behind me yet, I'm soaking up how far I've come and the privilege I've been given to still enjoy the life I have. Thank you for riding the roller coaster with me so I felt a little less alone.

I'll be in touch next month once I receive the news that there's still no evidence of disease. After that, it's ALOHA baby!

Lots of love,
Linz
