It doesn’t matter how much you read, talk to others, are educated by the Doctors and Nurses, nothing prepares you for it being your child! 

They told us exactly what would happen when starting Blina, but still my anxiety was 💯

Emmy on the other hand, was so brave!
Besides spiking 2 fevers in the first 24 hours(just like they told us would likely happen), she did great! 

She got more blood cultures taken and was given antibiotics to be on the safe side, but we busted out of there a day early! 

We got home on Wednesday, she was able to make it to the yearly Santa arrival parade at Dads work on Thursday,  and made it to school on Friday. 😀

We are thankful to be one step closer to being done with the frontline 🙌
