28 days✅
Emmy got unhooked from her backpack today!
She was starting to get sick of lugging it around!
But, overall did very well the last 28 days.
Unfortunately, last week threw us several curve balls, including a respiratory virus and a Friday night spent in the ER due to backpack issues. That along with the passing of my grandfather, juggling being back at work, and the assumed water leak in our bathroom(thankful we know the best carpenter in town, however, I don’t think he feels as lucky)… we all need a nap!
We are looking forward to a break from chemo this week and hoping we make it to all our Christmas activities!
The next phase starts Dec 23rd and lasts 60 days. It will include 2 lumbar punctures, and 2 IV chemos every 10 days
We have been asked a lot lately what we need in the midst of all the unpredictability and holiday season. I continue to have zero idea. What I do know is the girls will not be short of any Christmas presents, so rest assured Santa has them on the super nice list this year! 😉
Your continued support, an ear to listen and a hand to help(maybe with wrapping Christmas presents🫣) when things get chaotic, is the most helpful thing to us right now!
This year has been hard on our entire family and we are looking forward to the end of 2024.
Thanks for being here. Happy Holidays!
