Hi Everyone,
I apologize that it's been a while since our last update on Kelly. I know quite a few of you have wanted to know how she is doing.
Since our last update, Kelly has continued to get better and better. Doctor appointments have started to become less frequent and even a few that have released her from their care. She did have a echocardiogram a few weeks back and everything looked good. No signs of fluid and her heart is in good health. The last CT scan showed little to no signs of cancer in her left lung, lymph nodes or bones. The mass in her right lung continues to reduce and has seen approx. a 70% reduction. Simply put, the treatment is working!!
Kelly did have a short battle with some pneumonia and what was thought to be Noravirus, but both were short lived and treated.
Medical updates aside, our family's focus has been on trying to live as much of a normal life as possible. Most of you that know Kelly, she's not one to sit still very long. She takes walks everyday around our neighborhood, was given approval to drive on her own, and even joins me at the gym on occasion :)
Kelly also recently decided to go back to work a couple days a week. So, for those that need your botox and filler fix, make sure you visit her at 4EverYoung in Woodstock.Β
We will continue to keep everyone up to date on any new news. Thank you so much for the continued prayers and for supporting our family!
Chad
