Week 2: Starting off strong!

Keegan is officially in the grind now and starting to really pick up on the patterns they’re training his body to find! His lateral head movement has improved SO much, he’s finding midline more and because of that he is so much more interested in looking around and checking out everything happening around him. His eyes, hands and legs are all so much more active! He’s also pulling himself through more during army crawling, which is so exciting to see!

Speech had a fun surprise for us today. She made some calls and next Monday, a NeuroNode rep is coming to work with him and trial their sensor communication technology, which can pick up small intentional muscle movements and use them to access communication. We’re really hopeful this could give Keegan another way to make choices and tell us his wants and needs. I am hoping we can bring everything we learn back to his speech therapist at home and keep building on it!

He’s relaxing after another big day, but so far Week 2 hasn’t wiped him out quite like Week 1. 😄 It is SO fun watching his body start to figure out all these new things! 💙
