My turn for an update!

Not sure I can compete with my wonderful husband, who has been so amazing at posting updates, but I’ll do my best! 😊

As I sit on my little porch on this beautiful day, I want to share my absolute favorite Bible verses that are carrying me through this journey:

"Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
~Isaiah 40:28-31

I am SO blessed to have the support of my amazing husband, kids, (snuggles from my sweet grandson and new granddaughter!), parents, siblings, friends, and neighbors. Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart.

I’m surprising even myself with how well I’m doing… but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, because the Lord has shown me over and over that He’s got this. I truly can’t imagine going through this without His strength, hope, and peace.

Our daughter, Emery, came home from Duluth this week to spend some time with us. It was such a treat to have her with me during chemo! And I completed my 7th treatment — I’m over halfway done!! 🎉

We’re looking forward to some fun family time tonight with everyone home. It makes my Mom/Mimi heart so happy. ❤️

I’m also excited to be a couple of weeks into my mistletoe treatments and to be taking some important supplements that are helping my body handle the chemo and support my continued healing and recovery.

Thank you all so much for helping make this possible. I feel your love and prayers every single day.

SCORE!!! I picture you on that 40 yard line sprinting like a champion! Wonderful update Jessica. You are a tough competitor. Along with your husband and family I’m so proud of the strength you show and the encouragement you share.
