Weβve been in a bit of a βgrowingβ season lately. In more ways than one. And in ways we never anticipated until now.
Jessica continues to amaze with her chemo treatments (#6 today - Cycle 2, Day 15), and at the same time, weβve been slowly but surely growing more of the recommendations from our naturopathic doctor into daily life. Some of it has been simple adjustments, and some has taken a little more intentional effort, but overall it feels good to be actively supporting her body from the inside.
Weβve been looking forward to spending more time outside, getting a few things growing in the garden (that we weren't going to plant this year π€·πΌββοΈπ), and soaking up some of that Minnesota sunshine while we can. Thereβs just something about fresh air, green things growing, and a little vitamin D that feels good for healing the body and the soul.
Jessica just wrapped up Ryker's homeschool year. He's outgrown third grade now - not to mention another set of summer clothes. And heading into summer feels like a gift in itself. A little slower pace, more time outside, things to celebrate, and more moments to just be.
Jessica continues to amaze me with how disciplined and positive sheβs been through all of this - eating well (the right food IS medicine), staying consistent, and doing all the right things even when itβs not easy. Sheβs truly putting in the work, and itβs paying off.Β

Weβre so grateful for all of you β for the prayers, the meals, the encouragement, the generosity, and the constant reminders that weβre not walking this road alone. It means more than we can say. It helps us grow through every step, every day!
The socks are still a thing! This week's (Dinosaurs in teacups - because... why not?) are courtesy of another cancer thriver who's "Been there. Done that."Β Thank you for your continued support and prayers, Wendy (and the socks, of course)!Β
The people you meet on this journey are incredible - truly "set apart." Just take my word for it - I hope none of you ever have to find that out for yourself, but if you do, they are there. 100%.Β
