Hello Friends and Family!
It has been a few weeks since the last update, and I wanted to pop in here and write an update since Jeremiah finished his intensive in January. We have been doing really well, Jeremiah has been doing really well tolerating therapy more now. He is able to eat more, so much so that I stopped pumping (WAHOO!!) It was bittersweet saying goodbye to the last remnant of postpartum, but I am so happy that he is able to eat well and drink whole milk instead. He loves food and does not seem to be a picky eater, thank goodness! So far, he seems to enjoy eating yogurt, anything in a pouch, and sweet potato. He has been working on transitions (on his own!!) when we play with him which as been so exciting to see. He is standing and sitting in small increments of time, but has been steadily increasing in his time. He has started to pivot and do very small army crawling on his own while doing floor play. He is naturally so curious and we are thrilled that he finds so much enjoyment in the little things (i.e. his toys). He has been using his hands a lot more, and more purposefully. For those of you who knew Jeremiah within his first few months, he rarely used his hands for anything. They were usually balled up or he would chew on them. He has been opening his hands and splashing his bathwater, and slapping tables, which is so encouraging seeing "normal" baby behavior.
This past month has been very busy for us, from celebrating valentines, birthdays, farewells, chinese new year, baptisms and everywhere in between. At the beginning of the month we took a family vacation to celebrate Anton's birthday on a cruise where Jeremiah ate the most he's ever eaten in his life! haha. We are so grateful for our family and all the moments we have together, big and small. Thank you guys for your prayers, care, and asking how he is doing. We appreciate it more than you know!
