Can you believe how fast this year has gone by?! it’s crazy to think that we are already passed the first quarter of this year! Time has been flying by for us. We have some super exciting news to share!

In a little more than two weeks, Jeremiah will be doing his second round of intensive therapy!!! this is very exciting as this DMI location is much closer to our house, this will cut out a lot of stress as we don’t have to rush home to put him down for a nap or wake up very early in the morning to take him to therapy! This practice does two week intensive sessions, with a PT and OT for two hours a day. I really think  Jeremiah will do so well with this Therapy. I think he will be an absolute champ, as he was with his first intensive. We are super excited to see what he’ll accomplish in this upcoming intensive.

Some of our goals would be for him to:
1. potentially start crawling (he’s so close!) He pivots pretty well, and will use his arms to try to pull him forward while pulling the edge of the play mat or edge of the rug.
2. Being able to sit independently without the use of his hands or slouching of his back.
3. Being able to stand without holding onto anything. 🤞🏼 We have been playing Sesame Street episodes on our phones as he stands, leaned against the couch to work on his standing endurance. 💪
4. Transition from position to position. One of the main features of Jordan’s syndrome is not only low muscle tone, but also being able to plan how he is going to move, or what’s known in the Therapy world as motor planning. Our hope is that he would be able to transition from crawling to sitting to standing., Etc.

We know these are kind of hefty goals, but we are confident and hopeful to see how Jeremiah will absolutely blow our expectations out of the water!

We would appreciate prayers for our family, prayers that Jeremiah would have endurance and the willingness to learn (which has come naturally to him as he is a very curious guy.) Prayers that the intensive would go smoothly and that he continues to progress in his therapies. We are so grateful for the support we’ve received from you all! Thank you for following our journey and investing so much of yourselves into Jeremiah’s progress! Follow and share for more updates!

These pictures show such a stronger little boy than before the therapy. He also looks more confident and proud of himself, as he should be because he’s working so hard. Thank you for these updates! All of you are in my prayers.
