We just wanted to take a minute to say thank you and provide an update about our little nugget.

The love, prayers, encouragement, and support we’ve received from all of you means more than we’ll ever be able to put into words. Because of your generosity, Colton started his first week of intensive therapy this week. It’s been really hard on him (and honestly, hard on us to watch), but we’re so thankful he’s getting this opportunity. We’re praying that all of the hard work will pay off in the future.

The last few weeks have definitely been a roller coaster. We had another unexpected hospital stay after Colton had some episodes that were thought to possibly be seizures. Thankfully, we’re back home, and he’s doing well. Sometimes it feels like just when we catch our breath, something else comes up. But through it all, God has been so faithful, and we’re continuing to trust Him one day at a time.

We’re also officially booked to head to Panama at the end of September for Colton’s stem cell treatment. It still feels a little unbelievable to say that. We know this isn’t a magic fix, but we’re hopeful. We’d love your prayers as we continue preparing over the next couple of months. As excited as we are, it is a little nerve racking to take our first trip with a special needs one year old.

It’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks, our little guy will be ONE. This year has been so bittersweet and it has flown by, and yet it also feels like we’ve lived a lifetime of hospital stays, therapies, appointments, and unknowns. It wasn’t the year we imagined, but watching Colton fight every day has taught us more than we ever expected, and we are so incredibly proud of him.

Thank you for cheering him on, praying for him, celebrating the little wins, and loving our family so well. We truly couldn’t do this without our village, and we’re so grateful God has surrounded us with such amazing people. ❤️

We love Colton and are excited that his intensive therapy has begun. He is such a fighter and yet he finds joy in the simple things as well as we have witnessed in videos! He has courageous parents who love him and that is #1. We look forward to seeing him in a few weeks! Our deepest love- The Rasberry Family!
