Cleared for Round 3 :)

CODY UPDATE ❤️

We have some BIG news today!  Cody finally got the go-ahead to start Round 3 of dinutuximab this week! 🙏🏼

After a two week delay, his team felt it was really important to give his body more time to heal. They believe he had a lingering virus that simply stuck around longer than we would have liked, so they wanted to be absolutely sure he was ready before moving forward. Today, we got the green light. 🥹

We will head inpatient Thursday and plan to come home Tuesday evening. Please pray especially that Cody’s inflammation comes DOWN. His body is incredibly inflamed right now...and honestly, rightfully so. He has a brand new immune system that is essentially revved all the way up, and dinutuximab is asking that immune system to work HARD. We are praying that his body can tolerate this round, that inflammation decreases, that his lungs and other organs continue to heal, and that this treatment does exactly what we are praying it will do. 🙏🏼

And then…there is one more BIG thing happening in our family…

Baby brother could make his debut ANY DAY NOW! 🥹💙

We are trusting completely in God’s timing and are so incredibly thankful that we have such an amazing support system around us. We know there is a very real possibility that we may have to divide and conquer even more during this next season, but we also know we will not be doing it alone.

If you feel led, please pray for our entire family this week. Pray for Cody. Pray for baby brother. Pray for my husband and me as we navigate being pulled in two directions. Pray for our support system. And pray for peace, strength, protection, healing, and wisdom for every decision that lies ahead.

Even in the darkness, there is still so much to be thankful for. Even when we don't understand what God is doing, we can trust who He is. We are choosing to lean into Jesus, not because this is easy, but because He is our strength when we don't have any left.

One day at a time. One treatment at a time. One prayer at a time.

Jesus, we trust You with all of it. 🙏🏼❤️
