April 27 2026 - Recovery Update

Jamieson Family Health Journey

We were able to see Lisa, and wanted to share a quick update.

She is awake and resting in recovery. It’s still very early, but she is stable and being well cared for. We’re so grateful to be on the other side of surgery and to finally be with her.

As expected, she’s in the initial recovery phase, and the next couple of days will be focused on rest, pain management, and close monitoring.

Larry will be staying at the hospital with her tonight, and we are especially grateful for our caregiving staff who are stepping in with extra shifts—including overnights—to make that possible. Their support means so much to our whole family.

Thank you again for the many prayers, messages, and support today—we have felt it in such a real way.

We’ll continue to share updates as we’re able.
