A quick update as Lisa moves through her first full day after surgery.
As expected, today has been a harder day. She’s dealing with some of the normal post-operative challenges—pain, fatigue, and discomfort from the procedure—and is being closely monitored as her body begins to recover.
There are also a few things the team is keeping an eye on more closely, including some drainage levels they’re evaluating. We’re waiting on additional guidance from the surgeon to better understand what’s typical and what to watch for.
We would especially appreciate prayer today—for comfort, rest, and steady healing, as well as wisdom and clarity for her care team as they monitor these early signs.
We’re grateful she is in good hands and are taking things one step at a time.
