Another win for Branson

Another Win for Branson 💙

Today Branson had another positive step forward. The drainage tube that had been placed near his collapsed lung to drain blood and fluid caused by the force of the accident was able to be removed. It had been in place and draining for more than a week, so having it removed today is another win.

Branson also seemed more awake today, with his eyes open more often. He has not shown clear consciousness yet, but we know brain healing after an injury like this can be a very slow process. His brain needs time to heal, reorganize and make new connections.

His vital signs were very stable today, and although he is still on the ventilator, they have been able to decrease how much support the machine is giving him, which is also encouraging.

Slowly but surely, each day seems to bring another little sign of improvement. We know this recovery will take time, but we have faith and believe in Branson's ability to heal and recover.
