Branson Update β A Very Encouraging Step Today β€οΈ
Today was pretty similar overall, but during Bransonβs evaluation he gave us some really encouraging signs.
For the first time, he was able to follow several commands. He gave us a clear thumbs-up, held up two fingers, wiggled his toes, and even tried to stick out his tongue. His tongue didnβt come all the way out, but he was clearly trying and was able to touch it to his teeth.
These may sound like small things, but for us they are huge. It shows that he was able to hear a command, process it, and intentionally try to respond.
Afterward, he was very tired and rested for most of the day, which is completely understandable. His brain is still healing and even these small tasks take a tremendous amount of effort right now.
We are so grateful for every little step forward. Please continue to keep Branson in your prayers. One day at a time. β€οΈ
