Hello family and friends!! Thank you all for the encouraging comments and messages- I read each one and they mean so much to me and give me so much strength. I have been doing ok. Had 13th radiation treatment today so am getting there! I am so grateful for the wonderful staff at LCI who are so kind and compassionate and make a stressful experience much easier to bear. They also play great music in the room during treatment which helps so much- today was Dolly Parton! :-) I saw my oncologist today. My labs look ok except my white blood cell count and neutrophil counts are lower. Luckily they are just over the minimum needed for chemotherapy tomorrow so I will proceed with the 5th cycle tomorrow through Friday. I will go back next week for fluids and labs again. Praying hard that my counts can stay stable. I also will need to be very careful to avoid getting sick as I am more susceptible now so will be trying to stay home other than daily trips to LCI. Fatigue has set in from the radiation so I have mostly been home anyway and watching a lot of tv- thank goodness for the Olympics!! We continue to be grateful for the meals that have been provided- my boys are excited to see what's on the menu each time! :-) I also want to give a special thank you to Dave who is managing taking care of me, the boys, our pets and trying to work all at the same time. He is my rock and I could not do this without him. Boys are doing well and staying busy with school and sports. Their strength is inspiring to me. Thank you to all of you for your continued support and love. I thank God each day for each of you.
