Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas week! I felt good last week thankfully and we enjoyed special times with our family and friends. I was able to work some too which felt great. I wrote a letter to my patients and families about my diagnosis and the support, love and words of encouragement I have received from them has been amazing. I am so thankful. I have had 2 rounds of chemo this week and have one more tomorrow. I will then get another shot Sat to boost my white blood cells. This worked last round so I am grateful for that. I took all of next week off from work and will get iv fluids 2 days based on how I felt after last round. Needless to say I did not make it to midnight last night to ring in the New Year! I am resting as much as possible and praying I recover from this round better than last. As my doctor advised me Tuesday I will keep looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. 2025 brought with it many joys and obvious challenges but I look back with gratitude for the love and support we have been shown by everyone in our life. I pray that God will lead us all into the new year and that this coming year will bring blessings for all. Also I pray it is the year I beat cancer!! Thank you all again for everything. Happy New Year and hope everyone has a great day. We will be cheering on Bama- roll tide!!
