Hello all, thank you for all the encouraging comments and prayers. Unfortunately I have had a rough past week. I had severe neck, upper back and shoulder pain most of last week and woke up with a rash Sat consistent with shingles. I spent the day at ED Sat and luckily was able to be discharged home. I am now taking a regimen of pain meds and antiviral medication. The medications have made me very tired so I have been sleeping around the clock pretty much. I am grateful for my GTube as I can still stay hydrated and get my nutrition. I missed radiation Friday but was able to restart today and will finish up next Friday 3/27. I will be ringing that bell so loudly that most of Charlotte should be able to hear it :-). Praying each day brings improvement and healing from the shingles so that i can focus on healing from the cancer. Again thank you all so much for the love and support- could not do this journey without you all!
