I had lab work done and saw my oncologist this morning. Since I am feeling better and my labs are good we are going ahead with chemotherapy as scheduled today, tomorrow and Thursday. I am happy to forge ahead on this battle for sure. They are going to give me a shot Friday to boost my white blood cells so hopefully they won’t  drop like last week. I have also had some intermittent ringing in my ears (Cisplatin can cause this and eventually hearing loss in some patients) so my dose will be adjusted. Otherwise I am good to go and very grateful to be able to stay on schedule. Unfortunately Jackson got diagnosed with Flu B yesterday so prayers for him to feel better quickly and for no one else in our house to get sick. He had his flu shot and is on Tamiflu so hoping this will lessen his course.
Lastly I lost most of my hair while in the hospital which was emotional on so many levels. I am sporting my UNC hat from college which always makes me feel better and plan on going to a wig store at some point this week. My sweet sister in law Brittany has also ordered me some cute caps to wear. My heart goes out to all who have walked this journey and experienced this side effect.
Thank you all again and again for the words of support, meals, prayers, cards, texts, gifts, offers to help  and so much more. My heart is full of gratitude and I thank God for each of you ♥️
