Hi friends and family! I think I just resent my last post again-oops! This is a new one. I finished cycle 2 yesterday-yay!!!! One more to go week of new years and then will have a followup MRI several weeks later. I am so grateful to dear friends Sharon, Sarah and Kelly who went with me these days so Dave could work. Thank you to everyone who has offered to accompany me and help in so many ways-we are beyond grateful. I am hoping to go get a shot today to boost my white blood cells but waiting on insurance approval first. Otherwise will be resting next few days so I can hopefully work next week. Jackson is thankfully better and headed back to school today-rest of us seem ok and flu free so far πŸ™ Dave and I went to a wonderful wig store yesterday. The owner was amazing and spent so much time with me making sure I found one that made me feel like me. I am so grateful to have found her (Ginny’s Wig Salon in Gastonia) I then was able to watch Carson play in his first band concert last night too which was so important to me and him. So proud of him! Thank you all so much for the love and support and prayers-they are working!!

You look fantastic Ashley! Love the wig. I literally thought this pic was prior to chemo. Praying no one else gets the flu and that you can get some rest this weekend. ❀️❀️❀️

I love the wig! People who provide wigs must have a passion for it... it can't just be a job. I cannot imagine your relief to have round two behind you. I hope you get a lot of rest and can enjoy the magic of the Christmas season. Praying that 2026 will bring healing!

Yea, Ashley! You're doing so well, and you look great! I'm so happy that you got to see/hear Carson play in the band. He looks so proud to have his mom there. I'm continuing to pray for good signs throughout this whole journey.

Glowing! Love these pics. So glad you have a break until after New Year's to enjoy the holidays. Will continue to pray you all stay flu-free and healthy, for quick insurance approval and that you can all get some much needed rest and rejuvenation after a crazy few months. Hugs to all. Christine

That's a wig? Who would know? The answer is "no one" unless you told them. Beautiful! I'm glad the flu has not spread through your house. Many answered prayers. Thanks for the update. You are so inspiring!
