I am feeling a bit better today and no fever so I am being discharged home this afternoon. I will be on 2 oral antibiotics for 4 more days. We still don’t know exact cause of my fever. Could still be a virus. CT scan was stable but I still have fluid in all the sinus cavities on my left (blocked by the tumor from getting out) so that could be part of my symptoms too. Regardless I am super grateful to feel better and to go home today and cannot wait to see our boys. Also grateful for the excellent care I have received at CMC Main. It’s different being on the patient side of things but I could not ask for better care. I will see my oncologist on Tuesday and he will decide when my next chemo will be. I was able to watch our church’s beautiful worship service today and was reminded today is the candle is peace. I am so grateful for the gift of Christ who gives me a sense of peace in my heart always. Being on this journey during the Christmas season has definitely given me strength and peace and I am so grateful. Sending love to you all
