Zeke's Journey
This week has been an amazing, albeit exhausting, week! I tell you, these freezer meals and gift cards are life savers!
Zeke has made great progress and we are excited to see what next week will bring.
Tally is very excited that Zeke is exhibiting such beautiful fine motor control. She said it is unusual for a child with chaotic big body patterns be able to have some of the fine motor he does. But that just makes me laugh bc that’s just Zeke! He does not fit in a mold.
He is doing well in the suit and it’s fun to watch him working on crawling and breaking the STNR.
Another little update on our upcoming needs. We need to make some vehicle modifications to aid in protecting my body and Zeke’s as well as and making sure we can easily move his wheelchair. I found a potential grant to get a lift put on our car and am in the process of working on that. We are looking into finding options for the Turny evo seat bc it is so pricey! It would be a game changer though, as it brings Zeke out of the car for me, which protects my back and shoulders and also protects him bc he won’t have to be moved at far. This little guy is getting big! I’ll keep you posted on all of this as we get more information and direction.
