Zeke's Journey
Dr. Antonucci came yesterday and he was so impressed and pleased with Zeke’s progress. We have entered into a new stage, neurologically speaking, and I am thrilled.
No primitive reflexes are inhibiting Zeke’s movement patterns now, and he is able to begin to work on control. We have incorporated some activities that utilize certain bpm (beats per minute). It makes me grateful for my fitness background, bc that is totally my language.
Tally was excited about it as well and her creative brain was already incorporating ways to implement.
Today, Zeke worked on actively pushing on the ground, had some bike time, fingerprinted and worked on crawling. All of this set to bpm!
The rest of us are doing pretty well. Zane is a champ, like always, and has been baking for the last two days at Ability.
I’m feeling pretty exhausted, but I’m also grateful for how these days have gone.
Jon is navigating his work schedule well and his stress seems to be decreasing, so I’m grateful for those of you who have prayed for this specifically.
We have 2 requests:
(1) Medicaid denied this intensive- which is not a surprise but I am always hopeful. Would you pray that they overturn the denial? Without a fair hearing?
(2) Will you pray for Zeke’s sleep? He has been having some rough nights and he really needs some good rest.
