This week Willow turned 17 months! And… she finally got her first tooth! Actually, she got 3 teeth in 24 hours 😅 and a 4th tooth a day later. Thankfully, she’s been a champ and hasn’t been in too much pain.

We were able to take a road trip to see my family in Oklahoma this past weekend. Willow unfortunately developed a sore/pressure wound on her bottom. We’re monitoring it closely, but it’s always a bit unnerving. These things can go from zero to sixty very quickly. Please pray it heals and clears up quickly with no complications 🙏🏻

As far as home modifications go, we’ve run into some roadblocks. Currently, we’re starting to entertain the idea of moving to a new home. We would love prayers for wisdom as we make decisions and for the Lord to show us clearly what He would have us do. We want to make wise and frugal decisions, and we want to steward His money well.

You all have been so amazingly generous, and we want to be transparent as we pursue the best options for Willow’s accessibility.

We trust that whether we move or stay in this house, the Lord will provide what we need.

Chris and I were reminiscing the other day about where we were just 8 years ago. We had just returned from Asia and had lost our home there and all of our belongings. We were essentially left without a place to live and had to start all over. God provided so much for us in miraculous ways, and He has continued to do so over these last 8 years stateside. Even just 2 years ago, just before Willow’s diagnosis, Chris was left without a job due to a major back injury that required surgery. These last two years have truly been evidence of God seeing what we need and providing—even beyond what we know. We are thankful to be following a God who sees us and our needs and provides for us daily.
