Camila is off TPN! She has met her first nutrition goal of full enteral nutrition. After weeks of needing IV nutrition to support her body, she is now getting all of her nutrition through her G-tube again. This feels like a very meaningful step forward for her.

There are still a few nutrition goals ahead before we can safely go home. The team will continue helping Camila move toward her home feeding plan, such as fortifying her feeds and adjusting her feeding schedule to mirror what it looked like when we were home. 

We are so proud of Camila but even more importantly, you can see the shift in her. She seems more comfortable, confident, and proud of herself after everything her body has had to fight through.

We are hopeful that if she keeps moving in this direction, we will soon have a clearer idea of when we can finally bring our girl back home.

Thank you to everyone who continues to follow along and root for her. It truly means so much to our family. We’ll continue providing updates as we have them.
