Nothing like taking a step forward, just to take another two steps back πŸ˜”

Smaller Baby's umbilical flow was a mix of forward flow and absent flow, which is a change from all forward flow last week.Β

The doctor came in and used a fancy new ultrasound machine on the placenta. She found an artery that is big and causing the changes in smaller baby's flow. Unfortunately, she said there is no way to fix the resistance or feed from that artery. Essentially, we will continue toΒ  walk on eggshells because that artery alone can cause fluctuations or big changes at anytime.Β

We have to be seen twice next week, instead of once. CHOP doesnt want to release us back to Danville for at least the next two weeks.Β

Smaller baby is still VERY small. She is measuring in at 11 oz, while bigger baby weighs 1.1 lbs. So, quite a difference this time around.Β

Please continue to pray that things stabilize. These trips are becoming increasingly expensive, and are wearing me down. My hours at work had to be cut, and Eric can't take much time off. We are drowning. We obviously only want what's best for our babies, but closer to home will be the only way our wallet survives.
