HBOT Week 2 Update

 forming 3–4 word sentences and confidently using words he previously struggled with. 

He has been working on the L sound for a long time, which requires lifting the tongue behind the teeth—something he was unable to do before we arrived. Yesterday, he did it. 

We’re also seeing more consistent movement onto the balls of his feet rather than pushing up on the tops of his feet. He’s beginning to experiment more with movement, including attempts to pull himself into standing using my rings. 

Nothing looks perfect, and none of these changes feel dramatic or sudden. It’s possible some of this may have happened regardless. Still, watching these small, incremental shifts continue has filled me with hope. Small changes add up to big gains over time. 

This mom is still very hopeful.
