I cannot express how incredibly thankful I am to all of you, my village. You have made me feel so loved and I have all of the confidence that I will fight this and have no active disease after treatment. This cancer is not curable, but it is treatable. This will be a lifelong journey for me. And I intend to live a full life!

The next steps are a brain MRI, as MBC loves the brain, liver, bones and lungs. We know for sure my lungs are clear. Phew!  Then echocardiogram, the insertion of my port and a liver biopsy just to make sure there is no hormone positive cancer in my liver. Potentially radiation if the pain in my bones is too much to handle. Hoping to start chemo next week!! Let’s get this party started! 

(Some good news - I have HER2 positive cancer, which responds very well to aggressive treatment.)
