I finished my first round of chemo last night around 7:30pm!  I have been hooked to an IV cart 24/7 since last Wednesday. (Side note: I’ve named her Paula the Pole Pouncer!) The first thing I did when I was free? - a little dance & a shower without Paula in tow! 

Wowza - that shower was amazing, refreshing and relaxing. It truly is the little things! 

For those wondering if I have lost my hair? Not yet!  After my shower I was worried it would start coming out.  I’ve heard mixed reviews - yes, I will lose my hair and others say no. Either way, it’s hair and it will grow back once I am in remission! 

Now I wait to see how my body reacts to the chemo and it’s all about blood numbers. The doctors have my baseline, so we wait and see. Another lesson for me on taking things one day at a time! 

Thanks for all the messages, calls, texts, etc.!  Each and every one of the messages I receive is truly cherished! 

Now back to kicking cancers ASS!

Hi Tiffany, I am thinking and praying for you everyday. Love your attitude and it will take you a long way in your healing process. I know from whence you came and you can certainly do this. KCA!!!!! Good attitude about the hair. A couple of my friend ended up with lovely curly hair after losing it and growing back in. Also, there's great wigs out there. We old ladies loose our hair too so I'm checking out my options. Hope you feel God's arms around you as you get through this.
