Johnny's Third Week

Three week update - 3 weeks with JDCR3

Our little guy continues to grow and grow. He is now a little over 3.5lbs and well on his way to being a 4lb baby. Everyday they increase his feedings and he is getting bigger and stronger with his mamas milk. Mama is so grateful to be able to provide the best nutrients for sweet Johnny. 

Johnny started back his RAM trials on Monday to transition from CPAP to RAM nasal cannula. He did great Monday and Tuesday on his 3 hour days and so far is doing great today (Wednesday) on his first 6 hour day. He will continue over the next couple days to transition off and we hope by next week the trials will be successful and he can be fully on RAM nasal cannula. 

This week Johnny has started OT (occupational therapy) twice a week and is doing good for his age. He does get a little fussy with all the exercises but settles down easily. He also has enjoyed wearing some of his first preemie onesies - even if they are still a little big for him. 

Dad is keeping Johnny updated on all things in the soccer world and he is looking forward to hearing about the World Cup final on Saturday. Johnny thinks Spain will bring home the W. 🇪🇸⚽️
