Johnny’s Fourth Week

Four week update - 2 days till our Johnny is ONE month old! 

This past week Johnny has hit some major milestones! He is now fully on high flow nasal cannula and no longer needs Bubble RAM nasal cannula or CPAP to breathe. He has also graduated out of his isolate and is now in an open air crib. YAY JOHNNY! 🙌🏼 

Johnny continues to do well with OT and lifts his head up to look at his mom and dad with his beautiful eyes. He started Speech Therapy this week and he also had an eye exam and everything is looking good. Johnny had his first real big boy bath in a little bedside bath tub. He enjoyed soaking in the warm water but hated getting out to dry off - he looked so cute in his first footie pajama outfit. Johnny loves stretching out big and grabbing all the things he can get his little hands on (usually his feeding tube or nasal cannula.)

Johnny is doing such a great job and is such a strong little guy. We are so grateful for his healing and daily growth. 

Prayers that in the coming weeks he is able to transition off the high flow nasal cannula and to room air, that he can come off his feeding tube and that he continues to grow big and strong. 💪🏼
