Freedom!!!

Woohoo! Ian was discharged late morning! We had an incredibly kind Uber driver, who made sure to slow down before any bumps and made the ride as comfortable as possible for Ian. He has rested a bunch today and has been generally comfortable thanks to the recommendation from Lori to get this wedge pillow. Her husband, John, had the same procedure in March so we knew we were getting the best advice from them and are so grateful for the time they’ve taken to share with us! 

After resting, Ian took a walk to the hotel lobby and a walk around our building. He’s really just remarkable! Meds are lined up and alarms are set so we have a smooth night. We are both looking forward to a good night’s sleep! Thank you all for the check ins and messages of support! We feel the love, from all the way across the country! ❤️
