8 Days. It's been 8 days since Uriel was detained by ICE agents in Frederick, MD. I want to be frank that we are tired and overwhelmed but that we remain determined to not give up. Uriel was transferred to ICE's South Texas Detention Center. His bond hearing in MD is technically still on the schedule for this Friday 1/16. However, this administration has thrown out every past protocol and procedure. Even though Uriel has a bond hearing scheduled, it could be cancelled or dismissed due to ICE transferring him to a different facility. Bond hearings are based on the judge's jurisdiction and since the hearing is in MD but they moved Uriel to TX, we don't really know what is going to happen. Please continue to pray for the best case scenario which is that a bond will be approved and Uriel can come home. Please continue to pray for Uriel and any person detained or impacted by ICE's actions. We want to thank everyone for their continued support. Keep fighting. Don't give up.
