First and foremost we want to thank God. The last 85 days were heavy and draining. Days that felt really dark. Yet, light broke through. With every donation, it wasn’t just money it was a bill paid, commissary funds for phone calls and supplies for Uriel, legal fees, a way to hold onto some normalcy in being able to keep swim lessons and any need our boys had. Every meal was a sigh of relief as days seemed eternal as Rosa tried to keep our house functioning. Every grocery delivery was the source of joy as favorite snacks were always available, comfort foods were abundant and “there isn’t food” was made an impossible statement. For Uriel it gave him strength and hope as we at home were taken care of. The love and support will forever be carried in our hearts. You all were instruments in covering us in so many ways so we could withstand the weight of being separated. So many don’t have what we did during this process and we are so grateful and humbled by it. We thank you from the bottom of hearts. We now prepare and pray for the miracle of winning the cancellation of removal case. Just as we’ve seen God's hand in bringing Uriel home, we will see it when this process finalizes. Happy Easter!
