1/9 9pm Our First Bad News

Tonight, we were given a glimmer of hope. Uriel was approved for a bond hearing originally scheduled for next Friday 1/16. We were so happy that there was a chance he could come home. Unfortunately, this evening we received a call from Uriel that they are transferring him to a facility in South Texas. We now have to wait for him to be processed there and then the bond hearing request procedure starts all over again because they are based on the presiding area immigration judge. This system is meant to break our spirits. It's meant to make us feel defeated.

We won't give up. We hold onto our faith in Jesus and the support of you all. Please continue to pray for Uriel. Pray that God can place him with agents that have some empathy and treat him better than the nightmare stories we have heard. Please continue to share this everywhere you can. The more awareness the better.
