He woke up early. He cleaned our living room. Picked up around the kitchen. Prepared Ez’s lunchbox for his therapy. All while not being able to stand up straight or walk comfortably because of injury induced sciatica nerve pain. He left for work because he cared more about making sure our kids were fed and our bills paid than how he felt. THAT IS THE KIND OF MAN MY HUSBAND IS. I replay that morning over and over thinking I should’ve hugged him longer, given him a longer kiss goodbye, or just begged him not to go. The few times I’ve spoken to him he hasn’t complained one time just repeatedly asked “honey are you ok? Are the kids ok?” These circumstances are undeniably unjust. Yet despite the darkness, I see God moving. I’m overwhelmed by the support being poured out on my family. The calls, messages, shares, contributions, prayers. I wish I could personally thank everyone. Every act of love and support means everything. Please keep praying and sharing. From the bottom of my heart thank you."
