Tuesday we had a little scare when Asa woke up with a high fever and a terrible cough. We called his doctors and were sent immediately to the ER at his hospital to get antibiotics and steroids. It was determined that he has Flu-A. We assumed he would be admitted to the hospital until he could start treatment but he was sent home with some TamiFlu to heal. Right now, his treatment start date has been pushed back to Wednesday of next week so Asa gets extra time at home! Setbacks are always frustrating but we are grateful for more "normal" time together as a family. Asa has been so happy the past few days, especially when he gets to be with his siblings.
