The Temple Family
Asa continues to get weekly chemo and until today, I would have said I hadn't see many side effects of the meds over the past few weeks. Today though, I have seen a marked tiredness and overall sense of not feeling well from him. As I write this, he is asleep on the sofa where he ran out of energy setting up his chess board. Several times today he's let me know he feels bad and I can see it on his face. All this is "normal" as the medicine does it's job and his numbers drop. At his next appointment he will probably need a blood or platelet transfusion, or both.
We have been spending a lot of time outside soaking up the sun and enjoying the nice weather. His favorite things to do are play baseball and jump on the trampoline with siblings. He is really looking forward to when Gideon, Josie, and Austin don't have to go to school and can stay home to play. :)

Prayer requests:
- Against any infection in his body while he is immunocompromised.
- Austin & the big kids to finish the school year strong.
- My family (some of them) are coming to town in 2 weeks! Thank you to those who helped make that possible. Pray for their safe travels.
The Lord is my light and the one who saves me.
So why should I fear anyone?
The Lord protects my life.
So why should I be afraid?
