Yesterday Asa went back to the hospital for his first round of big chemo in this phase of Delayed Intensification. We were expecting a long day but each of the 2 infusions were only 15 minutes and we were able to go home in less than 4 hours.
Asa is still feeling great and his energy is pretty high. The chemo he got yesterday will begin to affect both of those things. He is also on steroids so he is gaining some weight, eating more, and is a little more irritable than usual.Β
A few days ago we got some big news: results from a blood test a week ago came back and it is showing no residual chemo cells in his blood! This means his body is responding how we were hoping and he can continue on his current treatment plan.
Your continued prayers mean so much to our family. Love you all!
