During Kat's intensive with Haven Kids Therapy, they had a photographer come to capture inspiring moments for the families there. 
Each picture of Kat shows her determination (see more on my Facebook, because there are some really good ones). This one in particular stood out to me most. At first glance it may look like she is smiling, but in reality she cried through most of every session that week. She did the work, but not without a fight. What may seem so simple, like holding your head up, is extremely difficult for her body. Cerebral Palsy is a disorder due to abnormalities and damage to the brain. While your brain sends quick signals to move your body, a person with CP does not receive those signals as easily. CP makes movement difficult to achieve.
After every physical therapy session she has, Kat usually takes a long and well-deserved nap. Her little body is learning a lot! We are always so grateful for every therapist Kat has because they believe in her so much, also they handle her puking and tears with ease. 😅

Although it's difficult to do 'simple' tasks, she doesn't let it stop her and that in itself is so inspiring.
