A year ago, Kat finally came home with us! After 55 days in the NICU, she was discharged and we got to love on our girl at home. 
It's really amazing to think about the difference from then to now: how irritable she was, unresponsive, feeding with her NG tube, on so many medications and more. She has come such a long way!

This week, we are at Kat's first intensive therapy! This is a week-long trip in Gainesville, GA where Kat receives PT/OT every day for 2 hours to hone in on specific skills. She is focusing on core and neck strength and so far is kicking butt! 
Today, Kat sat independently for 1.5 minutes on the balance board! She may not have been thrilled about it, but she is putting in the hard work!
Being able to come to this intensive program was because of you all, so thank you for giving Kat this opportunity! We wouldn't have been able to do this without it.
Haven Therapy does intensives throughout the year, including longer 2-3 week programs. We hope to be able to do more in the future!
