As we wrap up this past month in Boston and prepare to head back home tomorrow, our hearts are full of gratitude. This month has been so productive, and we are thankful we were able to accomplish so much while also receiving many answers and clarity about the next steps for Abigail’s care. 

 

We are especially grateful that Abigail is leaving Boston with an open airway, which is such a huge blessing and an answered prayer. 

 

Abigail and I will need to return in two weeks since they weren’t able to complete her CT scan during this trip. Then in August, all of us will come back to Boston for Abigail’s jaw reconstruction surgery. 

 

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, and followed along on this journey. We are thankful to head home encouraged and hopeful for what’s ahead.
