Tomorrow will already be a week since we’ve been back home, and time is definitely flying by.

On Monday, Abigail had a dentist appointment and did so well. For the first time, she didn’t cry at the dentist, so I’ll definitely take that as a win!

Tuesday evening, we went to a high school baseball game to watch our nurse’s son play on his senior night. It was a fun evening.

Today, I had a meeting with Abigail’s teacher for the next school year since she’ll be going to a new school. Both kids will be going to school full-time starting in August. I’m excited for them, especially because Gunnar has really missed seeing his school friends after homeschooling this year. It will definitely be an adjustment for me too, since it’ll be the first time I’ll consistently have a couple of hours during the day without both kids home.

Tomorrow, Abigail has her 4-year-old checkup at the pediatrician. Then in the evening, we’re planning to enjoy some of the Mayfest activities, including the cupcake and hot-dog eating contests. Gunnar thinks he can win the cupcake-eating contest — he definitely loves cupcakes! Hopefully he doesn’t get sick from all the sugar haha.

Then on Saturday, our town is having a 5K for Abigail, which is such a blessing. We will all be there, and we’re so thankful for the love and support from our community.

I’m also looking forward to life slowing down just a little so I can get back to the gym. I’ve really missed my gym family and working out.

Thank you all so much for the continued prayers.
