We made it to Boston around 12:45pm yesterday. The plane we flew in was very nice, and we were grateful to have the same pilot who flew us last year—it’s always comforting seeing a familiar face.
Devin even got the chance to sit next to the pilot this time, which he really enjoyed, while I sat with the kids. This was Gunnar’s first time flying in a small plane, and he absolutely loved it.
After we landed, we picked up our rental car, grabbed a late lunch, and headed to the apartment we’ll be staying in for the month. It’s a really nice place, and we’re thankful to have somewhere comfortable to call home while we’re here.
The weather yesterday in Boston wasn’t the best—it was cold and rainy—but we’re hoping for some warmer, nicer days while we’re here.
Today is a busy day for Abigail, with multiple appointments—some pre-op and some follow-ups. Please pray that all of her appointments go well and that she stays healthy, especially with the colder weather.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. I’ll try to update again tonight after we get back from her appointments.
