This week went by fast.

On Wednesday, when Devin got home from work, we took the kids to the park and then got ice cream. I’m so glad the weather was nice and the kids were able to get outside and play.

On Thursday, Abigail had a little birthday party at school with her classmates. It was also her last day of school before we head to Boston.

Yesterday morning I got a call from Boston letting me know they had added a few more pre-op appointments for April 3. It will be a long day of appointments — the first one starts at 8:30am and the last one is scheduled for around 3pm.

Yesterday evening we had a scary moment. On our way home from getting pizza at a local restaurant, we were pulling into the driveway when Abigail turned gray. She was asleep in her car seat, and Devin just happened to look back to check on her and noticed her color had changed.

I jumped out of my seat and opened her door to see what was going on. As soon as Devin parked, we ran inside to examine her. Thankfully she didn’t stay gray for very long, which means she likely didn’t lose oxygen for too long, and she returned to being stable fairly quickly.

Moments like this are another confirmation that she truly needs the surgery she will be having next month.

Please continue to pray for us as we keep preparing for Boston. We now have 19 days left until we head to Boston.
