I can’t believe there are only 11 days left until we leave for Boston. The next week or so will be very busy as we make sure we have everything we need and that everything is lined up before we go. This will be the first time we will be away in another state for this long, and when you have a medically complex child, you know how important it is to prepare for every possible situation. We have to make sure we bring everything Abigail could need while we are away from home.
This past week, I went to the gym a few times, which I have really come to enjoy. It has been such a supportive environment, and it feels good to be able to do something for my own health too.
On Saturday, Abigail’s mini documentary was shown at a film festival and to the public for the first time. A lot of people really liked it, and I was able to meet some great people in the film industry. I also met someone who wants to talk more with me and Ty, who filmed the mini documentary, about possibly making Abigail’s documentary longer. Devin stayed home with the kids so we could keep Abigail as healthy as possible.
Please pray for Gunnar and me, as we are both a little under the weather right now. With the weather going up and down so much, I think that may be what caused it.
On Sunday we stayed home for the most part and let the kids play outside in the backyard, which they loved. I also made a prayer sign-up online for anyone who wants to choose an hour to pray for our family each day. I may change it and remake it in Google Sheets, but either way, it means so much to know people are praying for us.
Today Devin is off work because his project is shut down, and I always enjoy the days he is home and we get to spend extra time together as a family.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
