NICU Memories and Disney Bound Next Week

We had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! Devin had Friday off, so we spent the day getting a few things done around the house. 

On Saturday, we stayed home and enjoyed grilling out together. With the summer heat, the kids had a blast playing water games in the yard, and that evening we ended the day by watching fireworks. 

Yesterday, we went to church and then spent the rest of the day relaxing at home. 

This week also marks a very special milestone. Four years ago, Abigail was discharged from the NICU after spending the first three months of her life there. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far God has brought her and our family through every challenge along the way. 

And now, in just one week, we’ll be heading to Disney for Abigail’s Make-A-Wish trip! It’s hard to believe it’s finally here. We are so thankful for this opportunity to make special memories together before her upcoming jaw surgery. Thank you all for your continued prayers, encouragement, and support.
