We had such a wonderful Christmas this year, celebrating with both of our families. On Christmas Eve, we spent the day with my family, and on Christmas Day, we celebrated with Devin’s family. The kids are at such a fun age now—they truly understand what presents are, and they can open them faster than you can blink! Both Abigail and Gunnar received so many toys and things they love. 

 

Abigail is in what I like to call her “little mommy” phase. She loves playing with her baby dolls and making sure they’re taken care of. Gunnar, on the other hand, is all about construction toys, trains, and dinosaurs. 

 

A few days ago, we got some exciting news: the charity that flew us privately to Boston last time has found a pilot with a plane big enough to fit all four of us so that they can fly us again. We are only 13 weeks away from leaving for Boston, which feels surreal. Time doesn’t seem to slow down! 

 

I can’t believe 2025 is already over. It feels like just yesterday we were starting the year. It has been a year of waiting, trusting, and growing for our family, but I am so grateful that both kids are doing well. 

 

As we step into 2026, I pray that it brings you true joy, many blessings, and a whole lot of Jesus.
